Episode #142: Never Had It, Never Will

Saturday, September 26th, 2015

Such a stuffed-up episode this week. We present music for all ages from pre-sentient to senile, and we talk your ears into submission. We talk and play songs about buildings and food (actually about houseboats and soft drinks). You’ll hear cover tunes, pop, rhythm, blues, folk, rock, instrumentals, and you’ll have a good time. If we preach, it’s to the converted, so you won’t mind.

Episode #140: We Can Smile When We Ain’t Got No Money

Monday, September 14th, 2015

A hundred years from now no one will care that this program was a little bit late coming out, because future generations will still be thrilling to the sounds of The Andrews Sisters, Patti Page, Dr. Dre, Weird Al, The Impressions, Donovan, and many more artists from the long-dead 20th and 21st centuries. And they’ll still be drinking Coca-Cola. We are preservationists, plain and simple, and with your downloads you’ll be helping not only yourself but your descendants as well. Please join our merry band.

There’s an all-female set in there, some solid reasons to drink Coke, dance instructions, bakery instructions, police instructions, a battle of in-laws, TV music, and maybe a little more including some chatter. We’re doing our best. We keep trying. Download and you’ll see.
