Episode #64: Where is the Gold?

Saturday, March 22nd, 2014

Some unusual and excellent covers this week plus some new and old hits, new and old folk and hip-hop and soul, Bob and Ray, Peter Sellers, some choral music, a supposedly very hard-working guy, ladies named Blossom and Adele, and even more, my goodness.

You’ll struggle if you try to find a theme here, because there isn’t one. There hardly ever is. That’s why you like to listen.

Episode #63: A Big Armchair for Two More to Curl Up In

Friday, March 14th, 2014

We bracket this week’s show with recorder and harp music from a favorite children’s TV show. In the middle you can hear German a cappella, German robots, Irish-flavored music, New Jersey songs and singers, at least five instrumental tracks, soul and funk and hip-hop spanning decades, Top 40 in English and in French, cover tunes, TV music, short songs and long songs, and even more than that.

We didn’t plan it that way, it just came out that way. It was worth our time and we think it’s worth yours as well. It will please us if you listen.
